Bellaman is by Masterpiece of Volga, an Emulation 31 son out of Margaret of Volga 0507. 0507 is an outstanding Alap of Wye daughter 0507 and our proven herd matriarch. Bellaman's dam, Blackbird of Volga 0933, is double a bred Moofassa of Volga daughter, Moofassa being the full brother of 0507. Line breeding in this manner makes Bellaman's dam genetically the same as a 0507 daughter.
Combining the calving ease reliability of E31 and Alap has made Bellaman our go-to heifer bull for the past few years and a favorite walking sire. There are no surprises with this bull, his progeny are consistent with our herd goals and core genotyple.
